- D R A M A T I S   P E R S O N A E -

::Protagonists::

Roy Salazar
Age: 22
Motto: "Go where the wind takes you"
Weapon: Excelsior (Sword)
Physical Description: His hair standing out like yellow rags of rank grass. He wears 2 family pendants, both The Bane and the Salazar families.
History: Our young protagonist, chosen by fate to embark on a great adventure, Roy is a humble and determined artist and purveyor of alterity. His parents dissappeared when he was 5 years old and he was raised as an orphan by the Bane family. Six months ago, frustrated by constricting political circumstances and convinced the city was composed entirely of bullies and imbeciles, he dreamt of a warm and immoveable ark in which to take refuge from incessant deluge of human stupidity. He and his sister left the city and migrated south to Wendover, a peaceful village in the countryside.  While off on a hunting mission, his sister was taken by Zenadir Brigade and his village burned to the ground. Angered and distraught, he forms a vendetta against them and promises to get her back. He joins a specialized Eschegen search and destroy team known as the Z-Hunters, whose mission focuses on the Zenadir Brigade and the cessation of events like the one in his village. Beginning a few days before his sister's abduction, Roy has been having vivid nightmares, sometimes of a terrible storm in the midst of an unending ocean, sometimes of mysterious girl. His dreams play an important part in his storyline.

Cerul Bane
Age: 21
Motto: "Keep a lightened heart, or else..."
Weapon: Rapier/dagger combo
Physical description: Her outfit is very colorful; full of vibrant greens, shining yellows, bright oranges and blues.
History: Roy's childhood friend and in a weird, unspoken way, crush as well. Cerul is a kind-hearted person and sort of a tom boy, but with a bold feminine side. Her father is Professor Bane, who raised her well and with a good education. Cerul is always full of energy and enthusiasm, but not without tact and reserve.

Vennt Feltrice
Age: 21
Motto: "Revenge is what I live for"
Weapon: Explosive pistol
Physical Description: Slender with brown hair pulled back. Wears a monk-like robe and his family's pendant out around his neck with memorial pride. Around his waist is his gun belt with two interlocking straps.
History: Vennt grew up in a small village western continent called Bells, and served under his father at their Chessian church. His parents were killed and his village burned by Slash, or so it is said. He is haunted by visions of flames and has progressively worse hallucinations and obsesses over killing the man responsible for ruining his life. Vennt is a very unstable and emotional character. At times he becomes very angry, frustrated, and even violent and often projects/transfers his own misfortunes onto individual people or groups (Verges, Zenadir, Eschegen, etc.). He is also a very dependent person and is easily influenced or swayed.

Tristo Azuline
Age: 20
Motto: "Lose? I'd rather die"
Weapon: Slim axe
Physical Description - Tall and muscular. Tristo has a certain glimmer in his eye, and a confident grin plastered on his face. He carries himself with the swagger of a troubadour. He proudly holds his chest out high and shoulders pinned back. He wears ahead ornament and has a breastplate with shoulder straps over a tan shirt.
History - A young and confident man with eloquent and self-assured mannerisms, Tristo is the type who holds the power to attract through his personal magnetism and charm. He is training for the decannual Mihosho tournament. Interested in adventures, treasure, women, wine, and fame, he randomly encounters Roy by saving him from the first Zenadir attack and becomes a Z-Hunter himself because of his efforts. As the game progresses he grows into a more modest, conscious, and sensitive person, but at first he is cocky and something of a gloater. He also owns a rather sleek hoverbike.

Ardora Del Essa
Age: 23
Motto: "Hope is all"
Weapon: Star spear

Physical description: Ardora wears a light french gray, skin sight, space suit. Her hair is short and dirty blonde, almost pressed against her skull. Her cheekbones and features stand out and she encompasses an exotic beauty, despite her forlorn circumstances and often sad eyes.
History: A mysterious girl in strange clothing who has been imprisoned for blasphemy. She claims to be from the future and that a horrible event is going to occur if they build the cannon and go into the southern continent which will, in turn, unravel a series of events that will unleashes Dragone, the embodiment of the wraith of god. Because this is before they have even begun building such a thing, although they just recently constructed plans, she is under suspicion, although they still regard her as being simply insane.

:::Zenadir Anarchist Brigade:::
An anarchist group conisting of seven men, all highly trained and very dangerous. Sworn to destroy the establishments of the Syanican government, which is their central goal, there also exist ulterior motives and inner turmoil within. Because they are highly wanted for murder and treason among countless other offenses, they operate secretly in various underground 'stations' across the continent. Over the course of the past several months, they have been attacking the less fortified military outposts and various Eschegen facilities around the central continent. Never getting too close, and careful to not fall into traps, they're signature of destruction is "blood grafitti," often the word "ESCAPE" in capital letters, often to replace "Eschegen" on signposts. They have recently become sort of a scape goat for Eschegen's own doings.

Jerol Bellemont
Age: 33
History: He is the leader and founder of the Brigade. A very stern, but level-headed and rational man. Always has the look of serious contemplation on his face.
Physical description: Jerol is a large, muscular man who walks with a concentrated fierceness. He is well-dressed and neatly groomed, aside from his black hair which flows outward in perpendicular directions and his jet black mustache.
Weapon: Azalea (broadsword)
Motive: Justice through bloodshed, and violent overthrowing of government

Ashlan"Slash" Ghrenhelm
Age: 32
History: Jerols long-time friend and fierce right-hand man. Together they escaped from jail and became partners from then on. While Jerol's crime was political, Ashlan was arrested for attempting to steal the chancellor's wedding ring. Slash is cocky, kind of crazy, and incredibly prideful. Although he has a bad temper, he is not necessarily "evil" natured.
Physical description: Often has head cocked back and to the right as if it was permanently glued in such a position. His hair is abnormally spiky as if the wind has molded it upwards. Has an identifiable scar over his left eye. His skin is tan and rough and he often has a wide, cocky grin on his face.
Weapon: Fist of Hell (wristblade)
Motive: Similar to Jerol's, but with a good deal of ego boosting involved
Physical description: Tall and slender, his shoddy cape drapes over his figure and his shoulder-length crimson red hair hangs over the entire right side of his impudent face. His eyes like sapphires, in that deep blue contain a madness and hatred that has been rightfully established somewhere along the timeline of his troubled past. Ganzer shares a connection with Jerol, but there is also an air of disagreeance concerning the policies of the group.

Ganzer Greycross
Age: 26
History: At 26, the youngest of the seven, Ganzer is a man more obviously mad. His appearance and strange, eerie mannerisms seem to mirror his mysterious nature.
Weapon: Mother's Tears (double-edged sword)
Motive: Revenge, hate for humanity

Adrian Caliborne
Age: 65
History: The oldest member of the group. Adrian constructs technology and devises plans for the group and rarely joins in during battle.
Physical Description: The brilliancy of his outfit expresses a painful contrast with his face and skin. He carries a red flower in the button-hole of his robe, which shows vivid against a face that was literally discolored like lead and with hair as white as snow; the whole thing has a hideous effect as if some drunken dandies had put their clothes upon a corpse. His movements are long and with peril, and do not express merely decrepitude, but corruption.
Weapon: None
Motive: General anarchist MO

Dauru Aesir
Age: 41
History: Although not much is known about him, because he is an abnormally quiet man, he was at one point a scholar and family man in his homeland until he was forced to fight in the war, where he survived until the treaty. Afterwards he left his homelands and headed west where he met Jerol in Blueblood.
Physical Description: His eyes are a bright light blue like a blind man's. He has a black beard that looks as if it were only black by being too deep a blue. And in the gloom and thickness of the beard, his dark red mouth shows sensual and scornful. Whatever he is, he is obviously not from Cepheus; he might be from Indus; he might be from somewhere deeper yet from the dark heart of the east. What an exotic and eerie face: those almond eyes, the blue-black beard, those cruel, crimson lips. His bronze armor is spiked and also suggests foreign origins and has a hood that he wears sometimes.
Weapon: Frown-giver (Mace)
Motive: ???

Saffrus Kain
Age: 46
History: Good friends with Adrian, and similar looking men. Along with Jerol, one of the more "conservative" anarchists, but also one of the most dedicated. His "royal" colors suggest a nobility of sorts, but its only for appearances sake.
Physical description: An angular and bony looking man, Saffrus usually carries his head down with his eyes forward. His fine face is long, pale, and so emaciated, it must be wasted with some disease; yet somehow the very distress of his dark eyes, which shine like a wintry sea denied this. It is no physical ill that troubles him. His eyes are alive with intellectual torture, as if pure thought was pain.
Weapon: "Le mauvais enfant" (Whip)
Motive: Death to Eschegen

Verges
Age: 29
History: Its hard to tell, but he may be the wickedest of all those wicked men. He completes, along with Ganzer and Adrian, the triad of conspirators who wish to take the group to another, more sinister level, after they achieve their newfound power.
Physical Description: He carries his fine clothes and shining armor with ease, and he mostly wears a set smile, and blind grin. He always wears a pair of dark, almost opaque spectacles. There is something dreadful in those black discs, like old the tales of pennies being put on the eyes of the dead. He holds a certain confliction which makes it hard to tell what his smile of such gravity means. It seemed even that his eyes might be covered because they were too frightful too see.
Weapon: ????
Motive: ???

:::Eschegen:::

Neither government nor corporation, but something of a centralism which governs and maintains the city of Syanica. What took place as a "merger" between the country's previously free republican government and this once no-name mining company occured 21 years ago, the name Eschegen has become almost synonymous with the continental government itself.  It is still not known why such a strange event would take place, or rather, how, but despite the bright and smooth PR that was involved, almost everything that involves Eschegen itself is shrouded in mystery...

Rayelis Kurage -  A powerful and mysterious man, the man behind Eschegen. A hitler-esque politician meets business man meets crazed eccentric, also relatively young for someone of his standing. A conisseur of strange and exotic things and a fondness for manipulation and power. He is said to have incredibly refined tastes and the unlimited funding to support them. His personal mansion a labryinth, an organic maze admist an industrial building, decorated with extravagant and exotic details, often gothic and psychedelic in nature. Has an affection for chess, grandfather clocks, and chameleons.

Wenders - Rayelis' right hand man and public representative - A master of hypnosis and sub-conscious persuasion.

Governer Callderon - An old man and the governing official of Syanica for more than 30 years. Although his title would suggest some sort of power, since Eschegen came into play, his title is only for show.

Eschegen Military - The Eschegen military is infact rather large and developed for a country without war or opposing threatening nations. However, their purpose serves many functions, such as social services and operating as the police (guards) for the city and surrounding areas. They use the PR term "public safety officials" although their dress and code of conduct is very similiar to military kind. Almost every solider is given war drugs, which isolate their focus on battle and being subserviant.

Z-Hunters - A special operatives unit of the Syanican army who objective is to locate and destroy the Zenadir Brigade. Composed largely of men from various towns affected by Zenadir's wraith.

S.H.A.D.O.W. - A team of cloaked and ninja-like mercenaries employeed by Eschegen for political manipulation, murder, and often pillaging and destruction of entire towns. Utilize special camoflauge to disguise themselves as Zenadir members when seen.
